Anna Delores King was born on December 9th, 1937 in Philadelphia and was involved with various gospel groups from the age of twelve, before being discovered by Luther Dixon of “Scepter” records, recording for “Malibu” records in 1961 and “Ludix” records in 1962. In 1963, she signed for “Smash” records and toured with James Brown. She signed for “End” records in 1964 before reverting to Gospel music. By the mid 1970s, she gave up singing and turned to preaching, as an ordained minister of the church. Anna King sadly died on October 21st, 2002 in Philadelphia. This disc has scuffs to the vinyl, whilst still retaining some gloss, conservatively graded in VG condition, worth checking the flip too
