Augustine Twins – My Place – Duke

£10.00

Only 1 left in stock

“Duke” records was founded by David James Mattis and Bill Fitzgerald in Memphis, Tennessee in 1952, who were owners of the Tri-State Recording Company. The label briefly merged with Don Robey’s “Peacock” records, which ultimately took control of Duke and moved it to Peacock’s headquarters in Houston. Little is known about the Augustine Twins apart from this recording in 1967 and a previous recording in 1965 for the New Orleans based “White Cliffs” records, where they were billed as “Don And Ron”. |This disc has some wear to the label and vinyl, whilst still retaining some gloss, conservatively graded in VG condition, worth checking the flip too
