This Detroit label was owned by Mike Hanks, the MAH stands for Mike Alonzo Hanks. Billy Kent only seems to have released this single in his own name in 1960 and a later release in 1968 on “Expo” records. The Andantes backing up Billy Kent were Motown’s Andantes, comprising Louvain Demps, Jackie Hicks and Marlene Barrow, before signing an exclusive contract with Motown. This disc has feint marks to the label and light wear to the vinyl, whilst retaining gloss, conservatively graded in VG++ condition, worth checking out the uptempo flip!!
