The Cadillacs were from Harlem, New York and comprised Earl Carroll, Bobby Phillips, Lavern Drake, Gus Willingham and James “Poppa” Clark. and then later Earl Wade and Charles Brooks. The group was active between 1953 and 1962, they were originally known as “The Carnations”. Ray Brewster was a “Doo Wop” singer who joined the group. This disc from 1963 has light wear, whilst retaining gloss, with a slight edge warp, conservatively graded in VG++ condition, worth checking the flip too
