Brainstorm was a group from Detroit, comprising Belita Woods, Chuck Overton, Lamont Johnson, Renell Gonsalves, Treaty Womack, Bob Ross, Gerald Kent, Jeryl Bright, Larry Sims, Deon Estus and Regina Carter active in the late 1970’s. The single “Lovin’ Is Really My Game” won the 1978 Billboard magazine Light Radio/Heavy Disco Record of the Year. Members of Brainstorm continued their musical careers with other bands or in production. Singer Belita Karen Woods sadly died on May 14th, 2012 at age 63. This disc has some scuffs to the vinyl, still retaining a lot of “gloss” Plays fine with some light “crackle and pop” – Conservatively graded in VG+ condition
