“Dial” records was a Nashville based record label founded in 1961 by publisher and producer Buddy Killen, who started the label to release records by Joe Tex. The label had four distributors during it’s lifetime; London in the early 1960s, Atlantic in the mid to late 1960s, Mercury in the early 1970s and TK in the late 1970s. Little is known about this group/artist apart from this one release from 1966, which was later covered by Rita Graham on her 1969 album for “Tangerine” records. This disc is in EXCELLENT condition, worth checking out the more uptempo flip too!!
