Cleveland Robinson was born around 1926 in Macon, Georgia, moving to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, then to Cleveland, Ohio. His first recording was on “Debra” records which was picked up by “Ascot” records (a subsidiary of “United Artists” records). After proposed deals with other majors fell through, Cleveland Robinson issued 12 singles and an album on his own “Nosnibor” records (Nosnibor is Robinson spelled backwards) recording at Schneider’s Recording by Herman Schneider, a small studio located in downtown Cleveland. Cleveland Robinson sadly died on December 5th, 2019 in Cleveland, Ohio. This disc from 1965 is in EXCELLENT condition, worth checking the flip
