Welcome to the new dedicated website for MD Records, we started this site so that we can get information about our new releases and other records and merchandise to you all as fast as possible!

Curtis Lee Mayfield was born on June 3rd, 1942. Moving to the North Side of Chicago, he met Jerry Butler in 1956 and joined The Impressions. He left the group to go solo, releasing many 45’s and albums until 1996. Curtis Mayfield sadly died on December 26th, 1999. This disc from 1972 has light superficial wear, whilst retaining gloss, conservatively graded between VG+ and VG++ condition, worth checking the flip too

Due to continued being on another buying trip for the next 10 days we decided to keep free shipping as a thanks for your patience while you wait for us to process your order.

No orders made from 1 April until 18th April will be shipped until after our return to the UK.

Sorry we cannot do free international shipping but if you have friends in the UK ask them to take your order, or if you are buying lots off singles drop us a line at [email protected] and let us see what we can do.

Free UK postage (Royal Mail Tracked) will now run until 31st March 2024.
