In 1962, WGRB radio station in Chicago was sold to Gordon McLendon for $1 million, who began programming an all black format. The callsign changed to WYNR on September 1, 1962. The station was branded “Winner”, and announcers included Big John Evans, Dick Kemp (The Wild Child), Luckey Cordell, Bruce Brown, Floyd Brown and Yvonne Daniels. This “novelty” number from Dick has some light scuffs to the vinyl and light wear to the label – Conservatively graded in VG+ condition – Worth checking out the instrumental flip “Wilde Childe Freakout”
