Welcome to the new dedicated website for MD Records, we started this site so that we can get information about our new releases and other records and merchandise to you all as fast as possible!

“Chex” records was a Detroit record label founded by Willie Ewing and Richard “Popcorn” Wylie. Detroit’s Donald Richards was originally in The Twilighters alongside Gabriel Garrett Jr, Othea George Jr and future “Chex” records co-owner, Willie Ewing, before releasing this solitary solo release in 1962. This disc is in EXCELLENT condition, worth checking the flip too

Due to continued being on another buying trip for the next 10 days we decided to keep free shipping as a thanks for your patience while you wait for us to process your order.

No orders made from 1 April until 18th April will be shipped until after our return to the UK.

Sorry we cannot do free international shipping but if you have friends in the UK ask them to take your order, or if you are buying lots off singles drop us a line at [email protected] and let us see what we can do.

Free UK postage (Royal Mail Tracked) will now run until 31st March 2024.
