Edward James Kendrick was born on the 17th December 1939 in Union Springs, Alabama and was a singer and songwriter, best known by the stage name Eddie Kendricks.
Known for his distinctive falsetto singing style, Kendricks was a member of The Temptations for “Motown” records. As a solo artist, Kendricks recorded several hits of his own during the 1970’s, including the number-one single “Keep On Truckin” and also founded “E.J.K.” records. Eddie sadly died on 5th October 1992 in Alabama. This disc from 1976 is in EXCELLENT condition, worth checking out the flip too!!
