Ella Washington was born on October 25th, 1943in Miami, Florida, and first recorded in 1965 for the local “Octavia” records. In 1967, she began recording for “Sound Stage 7” records in Nashville, Tennessee. In 1973, she moved to Gospel music and by 2009 she was pastor at Theos Ministries church in Opa Locka, Miami, Florida as Ella Washington Cobbs. This disc from 1968 is in EXCELLENT condition with a very slight edge lift and a bit of black marker on the label, worth checking the flip too
