Eula Cooper – Shake Daddy Shake – Atlantic

Only 1 left in stock

Eula Cooper was born in Opelika, Alabama in 1954, but raised in both Birmingham and Atlanta. She was signed to Jesse Jones “Tragar” records in 1968 and was just fourteen when she made her first record “Shake Daddy Shake” which got picked up by “Atlantic” records for national distribution. After a few more on “Tragar” records, she released the classic “Let Our Love Grow Higher” on Jesse Jones “Super Sound” records, then some releases on another Jesse Jones label “Note” records. Apart from one release on Jesse Jones “Adventure” records in the early 1980’s, Eula sadly recorded little if nothing after this. This disc from 1968 has some light scratches and superficial scuffs, plays with some light crackle and pop – Conservatively graded in VG+ condition
