Ernest McKinley Kelley was born on July 24th 1930 in Orangeburg, South Carolina and entered the music industry after relocating to New York City. In 1968, Kelley relocated to Detroit, Michigan to start work with “Motown” records. After leaving Motown, Kelley started his own business, Inter/Soul Promotions in 1975 with “Morning Glory” records being one of his labels, which was active in the 1980’s and 1990’s. Ernest sadly died on August 27th 2011. Floyd Jones was a rhythm & blues singer and trumpet player, who recorded two titles for “Vee Jay” records in Chicago, Illinois, in 1954. This instrumental take of the Dee Edwards song is in EXCELLENT condition
