Herbie Thompson – Let Your Love – Big Hit


Johnnie Mae Matthews was one of the first black women to actively own a record company, starting in 1959 on her “Northern” records. 1971, then “Reel” records, “Jam” records, “Audrey” records and “Big Hit” records amongst others. “Big Hit” records had around 20 releases in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s from the likes of “Cynthia & Imaginary Three” and “Barbara Jean & The Lyrics”. This disc has some light wear to vinyl and is conservatively graded in VG++ condition.
