The Intruders were originally formed as a doo wop group in 1960, and sang around Philadelphia for several years on “Gowan” records and “MusicVoice”. Sam “Little Sonny” Brown, Eugene “Bird” Daughtry, Phil Terry, and Robert “Big Sonny” Edwards signed with Gamble and Huff firstly on the “Excel” label in 1966, which then changed it’s name to “Gamble, where they then had many 45’s and albums and much success. This disc from 1967 has a “drill hole” otherwise is in EXCELLENT condition, worth checking the flip too
