Addie Bradley was born on 6th July 1943 in Byhalia, Mississippi and raised in Robbins, Illinois. Jan
started her career, singing songs penned for her by Curtis Mayfield, but after a dispute over her publishing rights in the mid 1960’s, she stopped working with him and stopped singing professionally in the early 1970’s. She raised a family and became a social worker, living in the south suburbs of Chicago. This disc from 1963 is in EXCELLENT condition, worth checking the flip too
