Only 1 left in stock

Jimmy Holiday was born on July 24th, 1934 in Sallis, Mississippi and first recorded for “Everest” records in the 1960s and after a brief stint with “Diplomacy” records and “KT” records, moved to the New Orleans “Minit” records, where his first recording “How Can I Forget” reached the top ten on the R&B charts in 1963. His debut album Turning Point peaked at No. 25 on the Billboard R&B albums chart in 1966. He moved to a few other records in the 1970’s and sadly died on February 15th 1987 in Iowa City, Iowa. This disc from 1965 has a small bit of writing on the label, with wear to the label and vinyl, whilst still retaining gloss – Conservatively graded in VG+ condition – Worth checking out the equally good flip!!
