Jimmy Lee Ruffin was born on May 7th 1936 in Collinsville, Mississippi. In 1961, Jimmy became a singer as part of “Motown” records, mostly on sessions but also recording singles for its subsidiary “Miracle” records, but was then drafted for national service. After leaving the Army in 1964, he returned to “Motown” records, where he recorded a wealth of material. Jimmy left “Motown” records, recording for a variety of labels. Jimmy Ruffin sadly died on November 17th, 2014, in Las Vegas. This disc has a “drill” hole, some light “staining” tot he label and light wear, conservatively graded between VG+ to VG++ condition, worth checking the flip
