John Edward Moore, not to be confused with Johnny Moore who sang with “The Drifters” this artist was born on 1st September 1940 in West Point, Mississippi. He was active as a writer and singer in the 1960s and 1970s. He recorded for several small Chicago labels – where he moved to around 1960 until 1974. His biggest songs – often co-written with Jack Daniels were “Turn Back The Hands Of Time” by Tyrone Davis and “We Did It” for Syl Johnson. Johnny Moore sadly died on 8th May 2005 in Chicago, Illinois of heart attack. This promotional disc is in EXCELLENT condition, worth checking out the flip too
