Leonard Charles Williams was born on February 16th, 1945 in Little Rock, Arkansas, moving to Oakland, California, at a young age. He signed his first recording contract with “Fantasy” records, cutting two singles for the label. In 1972, Williams joined the band Tower of Power, who had a string of hits . At the end of 1975, he left the band and returned to his solo projects, signing for “Motown” records then “ABC/MCA” records, followed by signings to “Rockshire” records and “Knobhill” records. This disc is in EXCELLENT condition
