“One Derful” records was a 1960’s soul label from Chicago Illinois, founded by Ernest and George Leaner. Elizabeth Lands was born on  11th February 1939  in New York City. Her purported five octave vocal range started her with “Motown” records, coming to the attention of Berry Gordy, when she was performing at one of Dr. Martin Luther King’s benefit shows, supporting Harry Belafonte. She left Motown in 1964, going on to record for various labels in the 1960’s and 1970’s. Liz Lands sadly died on 11th January 2013. This disc is in EXCELLENT condition, worth checking out the flip too
