Born in Mississippi in 1940. During her long career she played with Herman Scott and the Swinging Kings, Ike & Tina Turner Revue, and Little Milton’s band. It was due to her stint with Little Milton that she moved to Chicago and subsequently signed with St. Lawrence Records in 1965. This side gets eclipsed by the “It Aint Necessary” track, but this is an equal in my opinion – Well worth checking out!! “Drill hole” otherwise EXCELLENT copy!!
