Patty And The Emblems – Music Makes Me Want To Dance – Herald

Patty & The Emblems were a group from Camden, New Jersey, close to Philadelphia and comprised Patty Russell, Eddie Watts, Vance walker and Alexander Wilde. They scored a top 40 hit with “Mixed Up, Shook Up Girl” in 1964 on “Herald” records. The group continued recording singles until 1967, but never reached the same kind of success. Patty sadly died on September 5th, 1998. This disc has very light wear and a small bit of biro on the “Music Makes Me Want To Dance” side. Conservatively graded in VG++ condition.
