Robert Parker was born on October 14th, 1930 in New Orleans, Louisiana and was a singer and saxophonist. He is best known for his 1966 hit “Barefootin'”. His saxophone can be heard on many New Orleans recordings including Huey “Piano” Lewis, Fats Domino and Irma Thomas. Robert Parker sadly died on January 19th, 2020 in Roseland, Louisiana. This great double sider from 1967 is in EXCELLENT condition, worth checking out the flip “Foxy Mama”
