The Sensational Epics were formed in 1963 as a five-piece group based in Columbia, South Carolina. They played primarily for high school and college functions, performing Rhythm & Blues. In 1965, they evolved into a nine piece “Show & Party” band, featuring five horns along with a very talented rhythm section. Their on-stage antics, choreography, and dynamic sound made them an instant favourite of the college circuit across the southeast.  Most of the group have been with the group since their first hit “I’ve Been Hurt” was released on “Cameo” records. This disc from 1968 has light wear to the vinyl, whilst retaining gloss but does have a stress fracture (NOT A CRACK) Apart from this, the disc is conservatively graded in VG++ condition, worth checking the flip too
