“Womar” records was a Philadelphia record label formed in 1967 when Herb Johnson suggested Wally Osborne start his own record label. The result was WOMAR Records. The name came from the initials of Wally Osborne, his wife, Mabel, and his father-in-law, Ambrose Robinson, who provided the initial funding to start the label. These two previously unissued gems from 1967 – 1968 are in EXCELLENT condition – Check out the equally great flip “A Nicer Girl” by the “Topics”!!
