“Womar” records was a Philadelphia record label formed in 1967 when Herb Johnson suggested Wally Osborne ¬†start his own record label. The result was WOMAR Records. The name came from the initials of Wally Osborne, his wife, Mabel, and his father-in-law, Ambrose Robinson, who provided the initial funding to start the label. These two previously unissued gems from 1967 – 1968 are in EXCELLENT condition – Check out the equally great flip “A Nicer Girl” by the “Topics”!!
