Released in 1966, this was previously released three years earlier as “The Elgins” on “Lummtone” not to be confused with the group of the same name that recorded for Motown. The Lantam label was in Philadelphia at 821 North Broad Street, home of General American Records and Quaker City Records, both owned by Harry Finfer, Herb Gordon and Al Kelly. By 1968 the label was registered at 8 Sussex Avenue, Cherry Hill, New Jersey, five miles from downtown Philly. Classy paced Northern in EXCELLENT condition.
