“Correctone” records was founded in Detroit by Wilbert Golden. Terry Lindsey was born on May 23rd, 1944 in Romulus, Michigan. After successfully auditioning for “Motown” records whilst at school, but stopped from recording by her mother. After graduating she signed for “Correctone” records, scoring a regional hit with her first disc “Gotta Find a Way” followed by a few less successful tracks for the label. Theresa continued gigging in Detroit, as well as going on the road. She also sang background on sessions . Theresa Lindsey sadly died on July 10th, 2019. This disc from 1965 is badly worn with marks on the vinyl, writing on the label – Visually G+ to VG- BUT plays fine and dandy, worth checking the flip
