Toni And The Harts – Would You Love Me – Path

Thomas Shepard ran the Path label, relasing just under a dozen releases in the 1960’s out of his living room in the West Oak Lane area in the north end of Philadelphia, selling them from his “Smiley’s House of Wax” record shop in Fishtown. After the closure of the record store in 1973, the contents of the Path label were lost in a fire. Thomas Shepard sadly died in 2010, leaving us with little information about the artists or the label. Toni & Harts comprised sisters Toni, Marie, and Janet Hart from Camden, New Jersey who recorded for “Path” records in the summer of 1965 with  “Never Change Our Love,” backed with “Back To School.” followed by two more records. This disc is in EXCELLENT condition, worth checking the flip too
